Inspector General releases report on overdose deaths of two inmates at CT facility
NEWTOWN, Conn. (WFSB) - Officials have released the cause of deaths of two inmates at a Connecticut Correctional facility that occurred back in 2024. Inmates at the Garner Correctional Institution in Newtown have died as a result of intoxication caused by methadone and other medication, according to a new report by the Office of the Inspector General released on Monday.
